With deceased donor liver transplants we use such a donor only when the recipient is antibody protected or in the event of a fulminant who will die without a graft. Please share any protocols you have re: the heptaitis B core antibody positive donor into the hepaitis B surface antibody negative recipient - HBIg w/ 2 oral agents? HBIg IV or IM?
