We are trying to set quality process to ensure the status for all referrals is jointly determined and that each designation of status is correct. I hope to hear from someone that has a process in place.

Does anyone think it is needed?

The OPO Committee for UNOS is proposing a quality review process.

Jan,

We have built a questionaire into our data structure. It will help us answer the questions about our referrals. Of course this is imperfect and some referrals are then screened manually by a group. We used to meet weekly, but now we meet bi-weekly. Seems to work well for us.
