University of Minnesota Medical Center is now blogging about Living Kidney Donation!

Our Transplant Center has the largest Living Donor Program in the country and our living donor team has a wealth of expertise and insight to share around this topic. Dr. Arthur Matas, one of our transplant surgeons, has been head of the Kidney Transplant and our Living Donor Program at the University of Minnesota for many years  He will lead the team of authors who will be posting to our blog. That team includes our living donor nurse coordinators and social workers who work with our donors every day.

So if you have questions about living donation, such as "How does living donation work?" or "What if I’m not a match for the person to whom I’d like to donate?" or "What are the financial considerations related to donation?" come check out our blog.
