Summary
Much debate has been had about requirements for COVID vaccination in the transplant space, especially pre-transplant. This discussion will focus on the pros and cons of requiring vaccine, in both staff and family and patients.
We will discuss the difficult decisions faced by Organ Transplant programs regarding patient COVID-19 vaccination statuses, mandates, and the use of the prophylactic medication EVUSHELD.
