Jill Rockwell has been the dietitian for the liver transplant team at Children's Health for 18 years. She is currently the interim renal transplant dietitian and has supported the renal and heart transplant teams in the past as interim dietitian as well as through cross coverage.
Webinar Information
This webinar explores the unique nutritional challenges of patients with single ventricle physiology following Fontan palliation, with a focus on those experiencing failing Fontan physiology and undergoing heart transplant evaluation. Participants will review common comorbidities with nutritional implications, including Fontan-associated liver disease, renal dysfunction, protein-losing enteropathy, and malnutrition, while learning strategies to optimize nutritional status before transplantation to support improved transplant outcomes and survival.

Continuing Education: NATCO will award continuing education certificates to participants who attend this webinar. CE records are maintained by the NATCO Executive Office for a period of seven years. This program has been approved by the American Board for Transplant Certification for 1.0 Category 1 CEPTC. Each program will also offer 1 Registered Dietitian CPEU, approved by CDR, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Members may register at no cost. There is a fee of $35.00 for non-members.
